Manage a crew of Utility Locators in Missoula, MT. Must have multiple years of experience in Locating Telephone, Fiberoptic and Power. Must be 21 years of age and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have a high work ethic and integrity and be willing to work long hours.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and have an excellent driving record.

Missoula Area Utility Locate Technician
Utility Locate Technicican
Pay Rate: $18.00 to start. Depends upon experience
This position requires daily contact with utility managers, crews, homeowners and contractors discussing locate issues. Applicant must read and understand utility provided maps to assist in identifying underground utilities, as well as prioritize locating requests to determine routing.
The applicant must work well in an unsupervised situation and able to problem solve. Knowledge of underground utility construction is preferred but not required, as we do provide extensive training.
Solid oral and written communications skills and the ability to work with people are a must. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
